Dragon Kiln Firing – Day 1

Firing is at the 2nd stoke hole as of the time of this posting (12.45pm).

Our firing for the first day went smoothly with helping hands from members of GUI, Potter Steven and his students, and Elfie.

At the early morning hours of Saturday (5am), the temperature was around 1,100 deg Celsius after 19 hours of continuous firing! The first stoke hole was fired at around 9.30am (Saturday).
